Treading through the fog of the dead city, Shaifen-La’s deteroriated mind flashes between images of its job as guardian, and the frantic images of a mad celestial. Towering above the swampy trees, it walks on four legs, golden and ivory, inscribed with the runes of ages past. Its shell-like torso has been taken over by writhing green vines, winding their way up to make up for its absence of a neck as they host its face– a marble humanoid mask, expression and unreadable and two pairs of ears long and listening.

Failure: Until the end of its next turn, the target’s speed is halved, and on its turn it can take either an action or a Bonus Action, not both. Success: The target is immune to Shaifen-La’s Weight of the Ages for 24 hours.

Multiattack. Shaifen-La makes 3 Ageless Strike attacks.
Ageless Strike. Melee or Ranged Attack Roll: +13, reach 5 ft. or range 100 ft. Hit: 28 (6d6 + 7) Force damage.
Era Implosion. Wisdom Saving Throw: DC 21, each creature in a 20-foot-radius Sphere centered on a point Shaifen-La can see within 120 ft. Failure: 80 (18d8) Psychic damage and the target has the Incapacitated condition until the end of
its next turn. Success: Half damage only.
Bonus Actions
Wilting Gaze. Constitution Saving Throw: DC 21, each creature in a 30-foot Cone. Failure: The target gains 1 Exhaustion level.
Legendary Actions
Legendary Action Uses: 3. Immediately after another creature’s turn, Shaifen-La can expend a use to take one of the following actions. Shaifen-La regains all expended uses at the start of each of its turns.
Temporal Shackles. Strength Saving Throw: DC 21, one creature Shaifen-La can see within 60 ft. Failure: 14 (4d6) Force damage and the target has the Restrained condition until the end of its next turn. Failure or Success: Shaifen-La can’t take this action again until the start of its next turn.
Wither. Shaifen-La makes one Ageless Strike attack.
Looking to the Future. Attacks against Shaifen-La have Disadvantage until the end of its next turn.
